My Story

I am taking part in the Indian Himalayas Trek with Community Project in aid of St Oswald's Hospice (registered charity number: 503386). My £500 registration fee is non-refundable and has been paid by me. I intend to raise at least £4,800 sponsorship, of which £2,245 will pay my trek costs. All of the additional fundraising will be donated in full to St Oswald's Hospice.

By taking on this adventure, I hope that, with your support, I can make a difference to the adults, children and families that rely on the care of their local hospice, St Oswald's.

St Oswald's means so much to me - the hospice has supported so many people who have been dear to me in their final months and days, and it's where my mum was due to go if she'd managed to make it out of the hospital, and I am wanting to do something different to ensure that the hospice can go on supporting people who need their care for many years to come.

So please, if you can, donate whatever you can spare. As you can see, it's no small total, but every penny will be vital in ensuring that this fundraising can go ahead and that the hospice continues its fantastic work.
