On Sunday 21st September 2025, a team of determined hikers will undertake an exhilarating 20km walking challenge, to raise money to support the patients and families who use the services of St Oswald's Hospice. Set in the stunning landscape of Northumberland National Park, participants will follow the Hadrian’s Wall Path, tackling varied terrain through farmland, footpaths, and roads. The route is demanding, with steep ascents and descents—including the highest point of Hadrian’s Wall, Winshield Crag at 1,132ft. Hikers will navigate multiple crags and boggy stretches, all with one goal: to complete the challenge in under 8 hours while raising vital funds for hospice care.
